国際交流?留学 International exchange and study abroad

I arrived in Hiroshima towards the end of April, and thanks to everyone there, I’ve never felt lost. Everyone is ready to help you in any trouble you may have, IEC staff and other students alike.
While the University is relatively far from the heart of the city, it allows for a lot of serenity and a very enjoying view of the mountains, and Japan’s countryside. I really recommend living in the International Dormitory, which allowed me to learn about many cultures (not only Japanese) and get experiences I would have never had otherwise.
I studied in the International Faculty, meaning my classes were mostly in English, with some in Japanese out of cour. The classes are unconventional compared to France, but in a good way, as they allowed more freedom and creativity in the work, while teaching properly what needs to be learned. I learned a lot of things I would never have in France, and although my major is Art History, what I’ve learned in International studies is irreplaceable.
I can only encourage everybody to come to Hiroshima to enjoy what the university has to offer. There is a lot of options, especially if you are an art student, and whichever you might choose I trust that you will enjoy your time, and gain a lot from this!
