国際交流?留学 International exchange and study abroad

国際学部所属　［留学期間：2022年10月 ～2023年９月］

●　広島はどんな街でしたか？日本に留学中にどんな体験をしましたか？
Life is easier to manage when you reach a comfortable level of japanese.
The beginning can be difficult but it gets easier after few months.
I felt the most comfortable and enjoyed the most my life here in the second semester, as i was able to speak japanese easily and made friends with time.
My advice would be: be patient with yourself, not everything will be perfect at first, but good things will come to you.
As a whole, this experience was very important and impactful for me.

●　広島市立大学ではどんな勉強をしましたか？
I was studying Oil painting.
I was with 2nd year students from september to february, then 3rd year students from april to august.
I could become close and friends with one student from this class which made me more comfortable.
I also had japanese language classes, then classes taught in english like “Modern japanese studies” or “Exploring japanese society” It was very interesting.

?●　留学をした感想や、これから広島市立大学への留学を考えている学生にメッセージをお願いします。
Don’t wait to “be ready”.
You will never be fully ready for this experience and it’s normal.
I made this decision for myself, and the results are beyond what i could imagine.
I am grateful i could understand others and myself better.
Learning in depth about different cultures, languages and friendship was truly beneficial.
I believe there’s no others experience that could ever come close to studying/living abroad for 1 year (or more).
I remember wanting to go back at the beginning, because i was too scared.
But now i can say that i would never ever regret this decision.
